Accept Payments Directly on Your Website
Draftly integrates with Stripe to let you accept payments directly on your generated website — no code required, no third-party redirect, no complex setup. Visitors can pay for services, products, deposits, or bookings without leaving your site.
Stripe accepts cards, UPI (via Stripe's India payments), and 135+ global payment methods, making it suitable for both Indian and international customers.
Step 1: Connect Stripe to Draftly
- In your Draftly dashboard, open your site and go to Site Settings → Payments.
- Click Connect Stripe. You will be redirected to Stripe's OAuth flow.
- Sign in to your existing Stripe account (or create one if you do not have one — it takes 10 minutes).
- Authorise the Draftly connection. You will be redirected back to Draftly with Stripe connected.
Step 2: Create a Payment Button or Product
- Go to Site Settings → Payments → Products.
- Click Add Product and enter: product/service name, price, currency, and description.
- Save. Draftly generates a Stripe Buy Button embed code automatically.
Step 3: Add the Payment Button to Your Site
- Open the chat editor for your site.
- Type: 'Add a payment button for [your product name] in the [section name] section'.
- Draftly's AI adds the Stripe Buy Button to the specified section and connects it to your product.
Testing and Going Live
Before going live, test your payment flow using Stripe's test card number: 4242 4242 4242 4242 with any future expiry date. Payments in test mode do not charge real cards.
Once confirmed, switch Stripe to live mode from your Stripe dashboard and the integration updates automatically.
What Happens After Payment
Stripe sends an email receipt to the customer automatically. You receive a payment notification via Stripe. The payment also appears in your Draftly Leads Dashboard as a 'payment' source event.
For refunds and disputes, manage them directly from your Stripe dashboard at dashboard.stripe.com.
