Using Brand DNA for Perfectly Consistent Sites Every Time
If you build multiple sites — or just want every generation to feel like YOUR brand without re-explaining it — Brand DNA is for you.
What Brand DNA Stores
Brand DNA is a reusable profile that tells Draftly everything about your brand:
- Identity: Business name, tagline, industry, target audience
- Visual: Primary/secondary/accent colors, logo variants, brand images
- Typography: Heading font, body font
- Personality: Tone keywords (Luxury, Playful, Clinical), style keywords, words to avoid
- Messaging: Value proposition, key messages, primary CTA
- Contact: WhatsApp, email, location
Setting Up Brand DNA
- Go to Dashboard → Brand DNA
- Click + New Brand
- Fill in the Identity section first — business name and tagline are the most impactful
- Upload your logo variants (dark, light, rectangle, square, favicon)
- Set your brand colors using the color pickers or hex codes
- Add tone keywords: these guide the AI's writing style
- Click Save
How It Gets Used
When Brand DNA is active, every site generation automatically receives a brand context block injected into the AI prompt. The AI uses your:
- Colors as the default color scheme (overridable in your prompt)
- Fonts as the typography defaults
- Tone keywords to guide headline and copy style
- Logo in the navbar and footer (no more text logos when you have a real one)
- Key messages as suggested copy points
Multiple Brand Profiles (for Agencies)
Agency users can create unlimited brand profiles. Useful when:
- Managing multiple clients
- Running different sub-brands under one account
- Testing brand variations
Switch between profiles directly from the builder — each project can have its own active Brand DNA.
Brand DNA + Prompt Tips
Brand DNA sets defaults. Your prompt still wins on specifics. Useful pattern:
"Aurum watches limited edition launch page — rose gold collection, premium unboxing experience focus, pre-order CTA"
Draftly combines your prompt specifics with the Brand DNA defaults, so you get consistent branding plus page-specific customization without having to repeat yourself.
