Draftly Multi-Page Site Guide: Build a Complete Website Structure

Draftly Multi-Page Site Guide: Build a Complete Website Structure

Many Draftly users start with a single-page site — a hero, a few sections, a contact form. This works well for simple use cases. But most businesses need a proper multi-page structure: a homepage, a services page, an about page, a blog, and a contact page at minimum. Draftly's multi-page builder handles all of this.

Creating Your First Additional Page

In the builder, open the Pages panel from the left sidebar. Click + Add Page. You can:

  • Create a blank page and build it from scratch
  • Duplicate an existing page to use as a starting point
  • Generate a page with AI — type a description (e.g. "About page for a boutique law firm") and Draftly generates a complete page matching your Brand DNA

Recommended Page Structure for Most Businesses

PagePurpose
HomeFirst impression, overview, primary CTA
Services / ProductsDetailed breakdown of what you offer
AboutTeam, story, values, trust
PricingPackages, tiers, comparison
BlogSEO content, expertise showcase
ContactLead capture, location, phone

You do not need all six pages on day one. Start with Home, Services, and Contact — these three pages handle the majority of the customer decision journey.

Navigation Setup

Draftly's global navigation bar is shared across all pages. To configure it:

  • Click on the navigation section in the builder
  • Open Nav Settings in the right sidebar
  • Add, remove, or reorder navigation links
  • Set each link to point to a page, an anchor (section on the page), or an external URL
  • Toggle the CTA button and set its label and destination
The navigation is updated across all pages simultaneously — you only configure it once.

Setting Page-Level SEO

Each page needs its own SEO settings. After creating a new page, immediately set:

  • A unique, keyword-targeted page title
  • A unique meta description
  • A social sharing image
Do not let multiple pages share the same title or description. For guidance, read Draftly SEO Panel Guide.

Blog Setup

To add a blog to your Draftly site:

  • Create a page named Blog
  • Add a Blog index section — this automatically populates with your published blog posts
  • In Site Settings → Blog, configure your blog categories, author names, and default post thumbnail
Blog posts are created from the Content panel (separate from the page builder). Each post has its own SEO settings, category, tags, and author.

Internal Linking Between Pages

Internal links (links from one page on your site to another) are a critical SEO signal. They help Google understand the structure of your site and distribute ranking value from high-authority pages to deeper pages.

Best practices:

  • Link from your homepage to your most important service pages

  • Link from blog posts to relevant service pages and vice versa

  • Use descriptive anchor text ("see our pricing page" is better than "click here")

For detailed guidance on internal linking strategy, read On-Page SEO Checklist 2025.

Duplicating and Reusing Sections

For a multi-page site, section reuse is essential for efficiency. Read How to Duplicate and Reuse Sections Across Your Draftly Site for the full workflow.
