Draftly Email Notifications: Never Miss a Lead
A lead that waits hours for a reply is a lead that went to a competitor. Configure notifications and respond within minutes.
Setting Up Lead Notifications
- Go to Site Settings → Notifications
- Add the email addresses to receive lead notifications
- You can add up to 5 email addresses (use this for team routing)
- Enable SMS notifications if you need instant mobile alerts
Multiple Recipients
Route notifications to the right people:
- Sales team for contact form leads
- Support team for technical enquiries
- Owner for all (oversight)
What the Notification Includes
Each notification email contains:
- Visitor name and email
- Message content
- Page they submitted from
- Timestamp
- Device type
Reply Directly From Email
Replying to the notification email goes to the lead. No need to log into the dashboard for quick responses.
The Leads Dashboard
For reviewing all leads, filtering, and managing status (read/unread/archived), use the Leads section in your Draftly dashboard.
Reducing False Positives
If you're getting spam submissions:
- Enable reCAPTCHA in form settings
- Add a honeypot field (Draftly adds these automatically)
- Set up keyword filters if specific spam patterns repeat
