Draftly Analytics: Understanding Your Site Traffic and Conversions

Building a site without checking analytics is like opening a shop with the lights off.

What Draftly Tracks

  • Page views and unique visitors
  • Traffic sources (direct, organic search, social, referral)
  • Top pages by visits
  • Form submission events
  • Button click events
  • Time on page

Setting Up Google Analytics 4

  • Create a GA4 property at analytics.google.com
  • Copy your Measurement ID (format: G-XXXXXXXXXX)
  • In Draftly: Settings → Analytics → Google Analytics
  • Paste your Measurement ID and save
Tracking is live within minutes.

Key Reports to Check Weekly

Acquisition report: Where are visitors coming from? Growing organic = SEO working. Low direct = brand awareness opportunity.

Pages report: Which pages get the most traffic? Are your high-traffic pages converting?

Conversion report: How many form submissions? What's your conversion rate?

Setting Up Events in GA4

Track specific actions:

  • Form submissions (Draftly fires these automatically)

  • Button clicks to WhatsApp

  • PDF downloads

  • Video plays

The Monthly Review

Spend 20 minutes monthly on analytics:

  • What was my top traffic source? (Invest more here)

  • Which page had the lowest bounce rate? (More like this)

  • Did my leads count go up or down? (If down — why?)
