Draftly Forms: Capture Every Lead From Your Website
Every visitor who doesn't submit a form is a missed opportunity. Here's how to maximise form conversions in Draftly.
Form Types in Draftly
Contact Form — name, email, message. The default. Works for most sites.
Quote Request Form — with project details, budget, timeline. For service businesses.
Newsletter Signup — email only. Maximum conversion rate, lowest friction.
Booking Form — with date/time picker. For appointments and reservations.
Form Field Best Practices
- Ask only for what you need. Every extra field reduces completion rate by ~11%.
- Required vs optional: mark optional fields clearly, require only essentials.
- Placeholder text that disappears on focus frustrates mobile users — use label + hint text instead.
Thank You Page
After form submission, show a branded thank-you message with:
- Confirmation that you received their message
- Expected response time
- What happens next
- A secondary CTA (follow on Instagram, read a blog post)
Lead Notifications
Set up email notifications in Settings → Leads. You can notify multiple email addresses per form.
Leads Dashboard
All submissions appear in your Draftly Leads dashboard. You can mark leads as read, archive, and filter by status.
Integration With External Tools
On Agency plan and above, connect forms to Zapier or Make to push leads to your CRM automatically.
